With President Obama's decisions this week to reverse himself on secret Military Tribunals…

… He promised to restore "the rule of law" by disbanding these abominable kangaroo courts, and now he says his administration supports secret Military Tribunals and will continue to try so-called enemy-combatants and alleged terrorists through them…

… And his 180º turn-around on the torture photos…

… He promised transparency and release of the photos, now he says letting the public see the abuses these photos document in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo would put American lives in jeopardy*…

… Obama becomes part of the coverup. 

Meet the new boss. 
Same as the old boss.

So, am I disappointed in Obama yet.

Heck no!  You can't be disappointed if you get exactly what you expected.

*Note that publication of these photos not only would have put the lie to the "just a few bad apples" line we've been inundated with these last five years, but would have also tarnished the appearance of Obama's choice to lead all military operations in Afghanistan, General Stanley McChrystal, under whose command the systemic-policy of abuses in the photos occurred (see http://stan584.vox.com/library/post/this-modern-world-how-do-the-republicans-do-it-by-tom-tomorrow.html).
